How to Apply for the ECE Diploma?

Here are the steps:

1. Obtain a Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education ECE diploma application package by downloading it or through the mail by calling the front office at: 416.483.0511.
2. Complete the Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education diploma application package and remember to submit all the required documentation. PLEASE NOTE the following MUST BE INCLUDED:
   • Copy of Canadian Birth Certificate, Driver's Licence, Canadian Passport or Permanent Residence status (must be 18 years of age)
   • Copy of OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent;
   • Applying for Mature Student Status;
   • Copy of SIN Card (Social Insurance Number) upon acceptance into the program;
   • Two (2) letters of professional reference (each letter must be signed, dated by the individual and include contact name and telephone number); and
   • Application Fee.
   The above checklist is also included in the application form on page 5 to help you with this process.
3. Submit your complete application package by mail or in person to the following address:
   Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education
   646 St. Clair Avenue West
   Toronto, ON M6C 1A9
4. Once we receive your package, you will receive a call from our Admissions' Office to arrange a date for a verbal interview and an English proficiency test.
5. You will receive a letter by mail confirming the time and date of your interview.
6. Arrive for your interview. Be prepared for a group interview.
7. Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education will inform you by letter of your interview and test results.
8. Upon acceptance, a seat acceptance deposit is required.
9. Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education will provide you with start dates, tuition fee payments prior to program entry in August.
