Toronto Mapping & Planning Tool
The TMPTool is an interactive, web-based mapping solution that allows users to add a range of demographic, socio-economic, EDI, health, and infrastructure data at the neighbourhood level to a Toronto map for planning, reference, and service provision purposes. Users can view, explore, query, and print maps that can assist in monitoring and identifying relationships and trends across Toronto and its neighbourhoods. In addition, the available data layers are tailored for two specific user groups: users in agencies serving children and youth, and those in agencies more specific to the early years (serving families with children aged 0-6). Although the tool is free, you need to register with us to receive your login and password.
To see a demonstration of the tool, you can view the 10-minute TMPTool Video Presentation. When the video starts, press the Alt + Enter key combination to watch it in the Full Screen Mode. Alternatively, click the Login into the TMPTool menu item and login with the following credentials: user: demouser and password: user@demo. Although the demonstration version contains only a few layers of information, it provides you with a sense of the tool’s capabilities.
