For ECE graduates and other professionals who wish to upgrade their skills, we offer four different Post-Diploma courses:

Infant Toddler Specialization

126 hours

Research has shown us that infants and toddlers have very distinct needs that must be met in order to ensure their healthy development. That's why Mothercraft offers this unique program which builds on the knowledge learned through an Early Childhood Education program. This is an excellent course for individuals who have interest in working specifically with infants and toddlers.

Mothercraft is offering an Infant Toddler specialization seminar.  Click here to register.

Anti-Bias Approach

150 hours

After the anti-bias course became a requirement for the Mothercraft Early Childhood Education students, we decided to offer the program to the community. This course teaches early years practitioners about valuing differences, appreciating diversity and promoting inclusion.

Early Intervention for High-Risk Families

708 hours

This program focuses on how to identify children who are at-risk and how to develop strategies for early intervention that support healthy child development.

Children who are at risk can include those that were premature at birth, who come from a low income environment, and who have developmental challenges or unique learning needs.

Child Care Administration

120 hours

This program is ideal for individuals who plan to pursue a supervisory or managerial position within a child care setting. Topics covered include staffing, understanding and implementing legislation, the practical aspects of running a business and more.
