Early Childhood Education Diploma Program

The Mothercraft Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma combines classroom study, practical experience and Mothercraft's research and evalution focus to provide a unique program that graduates leaders in the field. The Mothercraft ECE Diploma is an AECEO Accredited ECE Program and fulfills requirements for registration at the College of Early Childhood Educators, established in 2008.

Students can complete the Mothercraft ECE Diploma on a full-time or part-time basis.

The strength of the Mothercraft ECE Diploma Program is its ability to combine research with applied practice in Mothercraft's Centres for Early Development, Early Intervention Programs, CITYKIDS (Kids Included in Daycare Services) and Ontario Early Years Centre. This high level of integration in early learning settings distinguishes a Mothercraft graduate from all others.

Full-time ECE Diploma

As a 12-month, 4-semester course of study, the ECE Diploma program is designed to train individuals to become highly competent educators who understand how to foster positive relationships with each child in his/her care, while attending to the needs of the group. Learning to develop positive, supportive relationships with families is also a key component of the program.

Mothercraft welcomes International Students to the full-time ECE Diploma Program and fosters professional relationships internationally, including:
