Children & Youth Services Information System

The Children and Youth Services Information System (CYSIS) is a comprehensive tool designed to assist Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS) Transfer Payment agencies in Toronto with data collection, management, and reporting in a streamlined, consistent manner.

Through an integrated, online approach to client information management, CYSIS provides data that meets the detailed requirements of funding partners, that is useful for maximizing care and optimizing programming, and that is relevant, timely, robust, and easily accessed. In addition, CYSIS provides a framework that can be expanded or modified to meet the changing needs of users. While the use of the common data definitions and dictionaries is mandatory for the eligible transfer payment agencies, the use of the CYSIS database is optional.

Training, Resources and Support

Mothercraft offers hands-on training regarding the administrative and user functions of CYSIS. In addition, it has developed an extensive user manual providing detailed step-by-step instructions for all components of CYSIS.
